Park Policies

  • Shoes must be worn at all times in the park with the exception of Splash Beach Water Park where swimming attire is required.
  • No bottle beverages, alcohol or food may be brought into the park. Coolers are not permitted.
  • Alabama Adventure is a family theme park; therefore, any guest wearing articles of clothing containing obscenity or profanity will be asked to remove the offensive clothing or leave the park.
  • For the comfort, safety and courtesy of all guests, smoking is permitted in designated areas only.
  • Ride and attraction schedules are subject to change, delay or cancellation due to inclement weather. Seating available on a first-come basis.
  • All ticket sales are final. Alabama Adventure does not issue refunds or rain checks.
  • Personal floatation devices and lounge chairs are not permitted in Splash Beach. Life jackets are provided for younger guests.
    However guests may bring their own Coast Guard certified life vest or jacket.


Guest Services


Strollers
Strollers are available for rent at the Stroller Rental location on Celebration Street.

Lockers
Lockers are available for rental at Front Gate Rentals and Splash Beach Water Park.


Baby-Changing Centers

Baby-Changing Centers are located in all restrooms.

 

Infant Nursing Stations
Infant Nursing Stations are located in both First Aid Locations. One is located near the Front Gate, and the other is located in Splash Beach Water Park.

 

Bag Checks
All guests subject to random Bag Checks.  To help ensure that your visit is safe, enjoyable, and fun, Alabama Adventure reserves the right to inspect all items brought into the park. In addition to metal detectors, security officers may check bags, purses, etc. to determine if you have objects in your possession that could accidentally injure you or another guest in the park. If you have any items that you feel may be questionable, please leave them in your car. Weapons are strictly prohibited at Alabama Adventure.

 

ATM Machines
ATM machines are located at: Celebration Street (Emporium Gift Shop) and Splash Beach (Resort Gift Shop).

 

Disabilities/Hearing Impaired Guests

For more information on access to all rides, please stop by the Guest Relations office located at the Main Gate. Service animals are permitted inside park. Wheelchairs are available for rental at Stroller Rental.

 

Lost Parents and Children
All Lost Parents (or lost children) are directed to the Lost Parents Center located at Guest Relations at the Main Gate.

 

First Aid Centers
Alabama Adventure has two First Aid Centers. One is located near the Front Gate, and the other is located in Splash Beach Water Park.

In-Park Paging of guests is done for confirmed medical emergencies only. Pre-arranged meeting places should be planned prior to or upon arrival of your visit to Alabama Adventure. Messages can be left at Guest Relations near the Main Gate.

 

Weather
To ensure the safety and convenience of our guests during Inclement Weather, Alabama Adventure has instant access to comprehensive regional weather forecasts and information. Some rides and attractions will close temporarily during electrical storms, heavy rains, high winds and other severe weather conditions. As soon as conditions permit safe operation, these rides or attractions will re-open. No rain checks or refunds are given.

Frequently Asked Questions


Do I have to rent a tube in Splash Beach?

Alabama Adventure provides tubes for attractions that require a tube. If you would like a tube for an attraction that does not require one, you have the option to rent a tube.

 

What are the best days to visit?

Everyday is a great day to visit Alabama Adventure. But if you want to try to avoid the busiest days, visit on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

 

What food can I bring into the park?

Bottled water and baby food are the only outside food and drink items allowed into Alabama Adventure. Exceptions will be made for medical reasons.

 

Is there a place to store medicine?

Medicine can be stored at the Main Gate First Aid location.

 

How big are lockers?

Standard Lockers are 12” X 12” X 12". Large Lockers are 24” X 12” X 12”.

 

Can I leave the park and go to my car?

You may leave the park and go to your car at any time, provided you receive a handstamp at the front gate.

 

When is the best time to eat?

Generally restaurants and food locations are busiest around lunchtime and dinnertime. You may want to eat before or after traditional lunch and dinner times.

 

What forms of payment are accepted at the park?

Alabama Adventure accepts cash and all major credit cards.

 

Can I bring a cooler?

For the safety of all guests, coolers are not allowed in Alabama Adventure. A picnic area is located outside the front gate.

The minimum recommended screen resolution is 1024 X 768. The minimum recommended connection speed for dial-up modems is 56k.

 

1. Why is there a $1 dollar ‘pending transaction’ on my credit card statement?

If you purchased tickets and received a confirmation number, or if you tried to purchase tickets but the transaction was not completed, a $1 “pending transaction” fee may be reflected by your online credit card statement. This fee is assessed by the credit card networks in order to verify certain information prior to authorizing purchase. In ALL cases, this transaction fee will automatically drop off and you will not be charged the extra dollar.

 

2. What is the refund policy for tickets?

Alabama Adventure tickets are not refundable.

 

3. What if I made a mistake and want a refund?

• Refund requests are reviewed and processed Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm Eastern Time. Closed most major public holidays.

• Refund requests will be responded to within 2-3 business days.

• If a refund is approved, please allow 2-3 additional business days to  reflect on your credit card statement.

• Call Center staff do not have the ability to immediately approve and process a refund under any circumstances.

 

4. Do tickets have an expiration date?

Unless stated on the tickets otherwise, Print@Home tickets are valid on any regularly scheduled operating day during the 2010 season.

 

5. Why do I have to register each Print@Home ticket?

For security reasons, including the deterrence of online fraud, each guest must show photo ID at the turnstiles matching the name that is printed on the ticket. However, for organized groups only, tickets may be registered in the name of the group. The group leader may be asked for photo ID.


6. Can I change the registered name after the ticket is printed?

It is not a problem if you have misspelled a name or need to change the name on a Print@Home ticket. Simply refer to your e-mail receipt and click the web link to the Print@Home site where you originally printed your tickets. Make the desired correction and reprint the ticket.

E-commerce technical support staff is unable to change names on tickets under any circumstances.

 

8. What if I cannot print my ticket(s)?

If you have not yet assigned names and printed your tickets, please refer to your email receipt for instructions (which contains a link to the registration and printing page). Please check your printer

• Check to make sure your printer is plugged in, properly connected and turned on.

• Make sure that all color and black ink cartridges contain ink and are working properly.

• If you are not sure that you have ink, please print a test page such as an email or a photograph.


If you remain unable to print your tickets, just go to the Guest Relations booth (at the Alabama Adventure front gate) on the day of your visit. They will be able to look up your order and print your tickets. You will need to provide the following:

• The credit card used to purchase these tickets.

• Photo ID.

• Your email receipt or your order confirmation number.

 

If you do not have your receipt or an order confirmation number, the Guest Relations staff will still be able to look up your order and print your tickets, providing you have a valid Photo ID and the credit card that was used to transact your purchase.

 

9. What if I lose my Print@Home Ticket(s)?

If you have lost your tickets, please reprint by following the instructions in your email receipt. If you do not have an email receipt, go to the Guest Relations booth at the Alabama Adventure front gate on the day of your visit. They will be able to look up your order and print your tickets for you. You will need to bring the following:

• The credit card used to purchase these tickets.

• Photo ID.

• Your email receipt or your order confirmation number.

 

If you do not have your receipt or an order confirmation number, the Guest Relations staff will still be able to look up your order and print your tickets but you must have Photo ID and the credit card that was used to purchase these tickets.

 

10. Where can I use my season pass?

Season passes are valid only at Alabama Adventure on regularly scheduled operating days during the 2010 season.

 

11. I can't complete the order because I don't know all of the information about the pass holder. What should I do?

You must have all of the information necessary to complete the order. If you do not have all of the information, you may purchase a season pass directly from Alabama Adventure at the park.

 

12. Can I pick up my order at the park?

A "will call" option is not available at this time. However, for Print@Home tickets only, if you are unable to print your tickets, please go to the Guest Relations booth at the Alabama Adventure front gate on the day of your visit where they will be able to look up your order and print your tickets for you. You will need to bring the following:

• The credit card used to purchase these tickets.

• Photo ID.

• Your email receipt or your order confirmation number.

 

If you do not have your receipt or an order confirmation number, the Guest Relations staff will still be able to look up your order and print your tickets but you must have Photo ID and the credit card that was used to purchase these tickets.

• Provide detailed information about events.
